      NidraLiving, a brand owned and operated by Monochrome, a sole proprietorship of Noufal Karinka Ppara ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit nidraliving.com, why we collect it, how we use it and the rights you have over it. It is issued in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
      By using our website or placing an order, you consent to the practices described here.

      1. Data we collect

      We do not collect, store or process your card numbers, UPI PIN, CVV, net banking credentials or any other payment credentials. All payments are handled directly by PCI DSS compliant payment gateways. We receive only a transaction reference and a success or failure status.

      3. Who we share data with
      We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver our service to you:
      
        Shopify Inc., which hosts our online store and processes order data
        Courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to complete delivery
        Payment gateways, who process your transaction
        Fulfilment and supplier partners, who receive the minimum shipping details required to dispatch your order
        Communication tools used to send order and marketing messages by email, SMS and WhatsApp
        Analytics and advertising providers, as described in section 6
        Government or law enforcement authorities, where we are legally required to do so
      
      All partners are required to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we share it for.

      4. Data storage and transfers
      Some of our service providers, including Shopify, store data on servers located outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection and that the transfer is permitted under applicable Indian law.

      5. How long we keep your data
      We retain order and transaction records for as long as required under Indian tax and accounting law, generally 8 years. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent. Browsing and analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Data that is no longer needed for any lawful purpose is deleted or anonymised.

      6. Cookies, analytics and advertising
      We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site performance and show you relevant advertising. Specifically we may use:
      
        Essential cookies, required for the cart, checkout and security. These cannot be disabled
        Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, to understand how the store is used
        Advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags, which allow us to measure ad performance and show you our products on Facebook, Instagram, Google and partner platforms
      
      You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working. You can also manage ad personalisation directly in your Facebook, Instagram and Google account settings.

      7. Marketing communications
      We send promotional messages only where you have opted in. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to marketing SMS or WhatsApp messages to opt out. Transactional messages relating to an order you have placed, such as order confirmation and delivery updates, will continue to be sent as they are necessary to fulfil your order.

      8. Your rights
      Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:
      
        Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
        Correct or update inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data
        Erase your personal data, where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected
        Withdraw consent at any time, with future effect
        Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
        Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved
      
      To exercise any of these rights, email directors@monochromeindia.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days.

      9. Children
      Our store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of any individual below the age of 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

      10. Security
      Our store runs on HTTPS with SSL encryption. We apply access controls, limit staff access to personal data on a need to know basis and require our partners to maintain appropriate safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

      11. Changes to this policy
      We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to you by email where we hold your address.
